Outreach

The Regional Youth Support Services Outreach Team operates in Gosford LGA including Kincumber, Kariong the Peninsula suburbs.

Outreach Youth Workers provide individuals with information, support and  referrals as well as advocacy.

If you need to talk to someone about issues like: problems at home/school, drugs and alcohol, homelessness and relationships or need help to access other specialist services such as Sexual Health, Mental Health and counselling services you can contact the Outreach Team.

Youth Workers provide casework for young people who have been assessed and need support.

Another aspect of the Outreach Teams role is the facilitation of group programs for young men and women in local high schools and the community.

The group programs cover topics like: Sexual Health, Legal Issues, Self Esteem and Body Images, Risk Taking and Healthy Relationships.
