Wyoming Youth Centre is a great place for young people in the Wyoming and Narara area to go in the afternoon. The young people have a safe environment and place to chill out with friends get involved in skill building activities including sports and workshops to express creativity.
Our skills based programs run Tuesday to Friday and include
- Active sports where the young people work as a team to win prizes,
- Cooking classes, young people learn how to cook easy healthy meals.
- Drama, young people express themselves in a comfortable and safe atmosphere.
- Art and mural projects were the young people work on projects to be displayed in the community.
All programs at Wyoming Youth Centre are supported by Casework services by the Co-ordinator and Youth Workers
The Wyoming Youth Centre facility includes:
- Hall hire for private and community use
- Disability access
- Access to Kitchen dishwasher and cooking utensils and
- Sporting equipment on request
- Full video surveillance
- Room divider
- Table’s chairs to seat 50 people
- Basketball court
Wyoming Youth Centre provides youth programs, information and acts as a referral services, networking with Central Coast services to provide the community with updated and ongoing projects, information and assistance for young people aged 12 to 18.
