GenQ is a Safe Place for young people 14 – 25 years of age who identify as LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex & Asexual). GenQ is an engaging, activity based program for LGBTQIA+ young people to socialise, gain information and support, and have fun!

GenQ has been supported by Regional Youth Support Services (RYSS) for 17 years and the organisation continues to grow as a provider of vital support services connections for LGBTQIA+ young people, as well as running workshops and programs on issues such as self-esteem, confidence and leadership skills, cyber-safety, identity, strategies around anxiety and stress management, and dealing with homophobia, coming out to friends, family and at school. GenQ has now grown to a network of young people, youth workers, services and health professionals who all work collectively to provide help and support to LGBTQIA+ young people on the Central Coast.

GenQ meets the last Tuesday of every month from
