The Youth Arts Warehouse houses a dynamic collection of 'Arts' facilities including a theatre space, band performance area, art exhibition space, a music recording studio, and a multi facet arts room, which hosts photography, as well as arts and crafts. All these services are accessible and affordable to young people aged 12-25 in the Central Coast region. Since opening in February 2007 over 10,000 young people have utilised this amazing facility.
Our goal has been to deliver to the Central Coast region the kind of multi purpose art space young people would want to use for their own artistic expression, development and education. It gives a place and a sense of belonging in our community that has been absent for decades. RYSS has been successful in obtaining considerable community and Government support to contribute to the set up of this half a million dollars project. RYSS worked in conjunction with the Parkside Board to develop this project which benefits the entire Central Coast community.
