A Youth Week 2023 Event
Friday 28th April 2023
5:30 pm - 9:30 pm
The One3One Youth Hub presents a live music event celebrating Youth Week 2023. Streets Beat's DJs will be bringing Hip Hop, R'n'B, and Rap tunes to Gosford CBD with a special gig for young people 12 -17 years. RYSS Youth Workers will be providing a safe place for young people to hang out, enjoy music and have a bite to eat.
Transport
RYSS Youth Workers will be providing a FREE shuttle bus service to and from Gosford Station starting from 5pm.
Safety and Security
There will be security at the event to enforce the no drug, alcohol, or violence rule that is in place. There are to be no plus ones or spontaneous guests that turn up on the day, only the people who RSVP/purchased tickets prior to the event. No pass outs!
Youth Support
RYSS Youth Workers will be present to provide a safe place where young people can hang out and connect with other young people in our community and provide access to services if required.
Food and Drink
There will be food and drink options available at the event.
Tickets
Entry to the event is $10. You must purchase your ticket and fill in the registration form before Thursday 27th April 11:59 pm to be able to attend the event. Only registered young people with a ticket will be able to access the event. You will need to bring an ID with your name to access the event. If you have any questions or need assistance to purchase tickets please call RYSS on 4323 2374 or drop into the One3One Youth Hub; Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, and a RYSS Youth Worker will be able to help you. Perform at Street Beats.
There are opportunities for young Hip Hop, R'n'B, and Rap Artists and MCs to perform at Street Beats. Maybe you’ve been working on a remix or an original track, or perhaps you want to have a rap battle with a friend live on stage. All we ask from all performers is that your music/lyrics are free of offensive language and content. You just need to fill in the application form and upload a short audition video. Register your interest at the link below.
Ticket Purchases
Please note that tickets need to be purchased individually in the ticket holder's name so that we can create our door list. Proof of ID will need to be supplied on entry to the event in the correct name of the ticket holder.
If you aren't able to make an online purchase, please visit RYSS HQ at 131 Henry Parry Drive where you will be able to make a cash payment at our reception.
