Overboard Skate Jam and Umina Beach Community Group are proud to be delivering Umina Beach’s first skateboarding jam to celebrate the opening of the new skatepark.

Join us for an exciting skateboarding showcase, celebrating skaters from around the Central Coast region and afar. This exciting event features STREET categories for 9 Years & under-mixed, 11 Years & under-mixed, 15 Years & under female & male, and an Open age category for both bowl and Street. The Overboard Jam is not for the faint-hearted! Whether an eager young grom or seasoned skater, come get stuck in, meet fellow skateboarders, and enjoy a day of fun and friendly competition for an array of prizes.

Please note there are limited allocations for skateboarders due to time constraints. We will endeavour to get everyone a spot; however, please pre-register your interest to give yourselves the best chance of being involved. In addition, please be aware that the open riders will be of an advanced level, so we recommend registering interest for your age group and considering the open runs on the day.

SKATEPARK JAM: 20 Skaters / 30 minutes / 3 x obstacles / 10 mins each obstacle

BOWL JAM: 45-minute Jam,

JAM T&C's:

Each age group has a maximum of 20 competitors, with a cap of 10 x per gender for MIXED sessions. Competitors can only enter a MAX of ONE age group outside of the OPENS SESSIONS. There are NO limitations on entering either OPEN SESSIONS.

Example: Little Johnny registered for 11 years & U, Opens Street and Opens Bowl. Johnny wanted to enter 9 & U, Under 11's & Opens Bowl but wasn't allowed.

3 x Wild Card entries will be held for each age group. Entrants can apply for these spots with the final wild card spots given out by Overboard organisers.

WAIVER FORM - Participants must complete our online waiver form here before they can skate. Please try to have this done before you get to the skatepark.

THE WAIVER FORM IS NOT A TICKET.

Spots are limited, and bookings are essential via Eventbrite.

* This is an outdoor event. Postponement and cancellation is subject to weather conditions and can happen anywhere from 48 hours to 2 hours before a workshop. We cannot skate in the rain or on wet grounds. Safety Gear: Helmets are mandatory for all participants under 18 years and will be supplied on the day.
