About the event
Work Readiness
The Work Readiness program is a dynamic and supportive social group designed specifically for young NDIS participants aged 12 to 24. This weekly gathering provides a welcoming environment where young individuals can come together to build essential skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workforce.
Program Highlights
Skill Development: Engage in hands-on activities that focus on critical workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management.
Industry Tours: Take tours of various work place industries and meet professionals who will share insights and experiences, helping participants understand various career paths and expectations.
Workshops: Participate in interactive workshops covering resume writing, interview techniques, and job search strategies.
